Hey Vibey Readers! It’s officially the second issue of the Vibey Homemaker magazine, and I couldn’t be more excited. Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, Mardis Gras, these are February. The best way to acknowledge these significant occasions is through food and storytelling, after all these staple dates are centered around just that.Growing up, I would spend the summers in Louisiana, I remember watching my great aunt bake these massive desserts. From chocolate cake to honey buns, homemade jams, spreads and so on. A love for baking was planted, and each day I spent with her, it grew more and more. Some histories are sweet, others bitter, regardless of the taste they all deserve to be shared. This month’s issue is all about chocolate, from its not so sweet history to chocolatiers paving the way with positive impact. Whether you are a self proclaimed chocolate enthusiast, like myself, or simply satisfied with the occasional chocolate tidbit, curve your craving with a deep dive into a world of chocolate.

“The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now.”
